The Company in Australia
My connection with Zultys products goes back to 2003 when the Regional Director of Zultys Technologies Martin Trigg, introduced me to Zultys shortly after entering the Australian market. Martin’s long term tenure with Zultys and Australian distributers is testament to the quality of a world class global company. Many other business Phone System manufacturers like ShoreTel, Avaya and Mitel have experienced regular turbulent times with Australian based teams and distribution channels.
In my view Zultys is the pioneer of SIP open standards VoIP phone systems unlike their rivals who use proprietary protocols. This means you’ll never be locked into expensive proprietary phones that manufacturers like ShoreTel, Cisco, Avaya and Mitel. The open standards platform safeguards your investment and does not tie you down. Interestingly, Zultys supports virtually any SIP device, so there is almost no boundary to the potential of a Zultys IP Telephony Solution.
Time honoured business telephone systems are inherently very reliable and stable. Then along comes’ VoIP, IP telephony and Unified Communications. Now we have telephones socialising with PC’s, Smart Phones and Tablets introducing another set of potential integration challenges and support concerns. We now have IT professionals working with Telecom experts in the same sandpit which makes for interesting times. The Zultys VoIP Phone System is a true all in one solution not relying on a 3rd party server or software and meaningfully less reliance on IT professionals. The Zultys all in one box is unique in the IP Telephony arena.
Constructors like Cisco, ShoreTel and Avaya require expensive 3rd party servers and Microsoft software in an attempt to compete with the all in one Zultys solution. What’s more these additional servers swell the cost of ownership with IT support, carbon foot print and not forgetting the usual replacement in 3 years’ time. We call these “Server Farms” that increase the necessity for more and more IT resources, costing more and more every year.
Since the Zultys is a SIP standard solution and use standard databases we can truly integrate the Zultys with customer’s data to create true solutions. While our contenders sell business phone systems we sell integrated businesses solutions! We can effortlessly read your databases to intelligently route your clients to the information and people that they need most. Our potent IVR (Interactive Voice Response) feature can save huge expanses of your staff’s time and dramatically improve your customer’s satisfaction with your company.
TRUE ALL IN ONE SOLUTION
Zultys supports Windows, Mac and Linux environments. Meaning Voice Mail, Call Recording, Auto Attendants, Call Centre Agent Software, Call Reporting, Fax, CRM Integration, Client applications Remote working and much more are all contained in one tidy rack mounted box.
Zultys will happily support Terminal Server and Thin Client environments too.
Zultys is brilliantly simple, stress free to Install and incredibly easy to maintain. IP Phone System providers like ShoreTel require expensive servers just to operate elementary features like Fax, Instant Message or conferencing. Fancy that additional cost for multisite enterprises?
Superbly feature rich with elegant simplicity a single MX 250 appliance runs on less power than a 75 watt light bulb. This is why Zultys is naturally 20-30% less than the challengers! And that doesn’t include the extra servers running day and night. We just don’t need all of that extra equipment and additional failure points.
INSURANCE POLICY or REDUNDANCY
We know Zultys is incredibly dependable, however to be sure to be sure Zultys have designed integrated RAID into the solution for disc failures. Spinning media (hard disc drives) usually have a useful life of roughly 3 years. Zultys, never resting on its laurels now include options for solid state media drives resisting contestants like ShoreTel discrediting conventional hard disc drives.
Zultys redundancy works like this; let’s say there are 700 users running on 3 x MX250 appliances you can simply add one more MX250 appliance as a redundant backup. Now if any of the 3 boxes fail the redundant box takes up the slack and all without losing a call. This means you can have 100% redundancy for a tiny portion the competitors ask. Manufacturers like Mitel and Cisco redundancy means duplicate equipment with duplicate costs, so it’s easy to see that redundancy is rarely offered by Mitel or Cisco.
That’s 100% peace of mind at a miniscule cost.
Zultys Unified communications bridges the gap between VoIP phone systems and other computer related communication technologies. Using Zultys means telephone calls use your computer network. In the office you will see that your telephone can now plug into the same cable as your computer bringing both devices and their full potential closer together.
UC is not a single product, but a set of products that provides a consistent unified user interface and experience across numerous devices and media types.

Another key frustration for businesses is the sheer complexity of many phone and data solutions. The good news is that communications complexity ends with Greg Eicke! As do all of its painful implications. Almost three decades in this industry has enabled me to develop what I call ‘brilliantly simple’ phone solutions. These solutions will make communications and collaboration second nature for your workforce. And of course they save you big dollars in ongoing phone costs… another reason why they are brilliant!

What is Beyond the Desk Phone?
We communicate in a bewildering array of ways every day, but we give little thought to the potential profit and efficiency increases of modern communications integrated into business processes. In most cases these technologies are almost always isolated silo based, meaning little or no integration diminishing the true potential of the device or application. Here are some concepts you may not have contemplated.
? PC software applications – Softphones, Instant Messaging, Chat, VoIP.
? Smart Phones
? Tablets such as the iPad, Samsung Galaxy, BlackBerry Playbook.
? Screen Sharing where others can see your desk top
? Voice Mail to email
? Adding video to conferencing.
? Fax to the desk top and smart phone
? Chat using Instant Message
? Integrated Unified Communications – not Silo cantered systems used in isolation.
Some considerations about your business processes
? Do all employees work in the office or not?
? How do employees connect when they work remotely or travel?
? Can I adopt Unified Communications with my existing phone system?
